This drama started off so good. Taking place a fabulous and luxurious hotel, managed by the ever so gorgeous Director Jo Sung Gyum. A murder taking place - bonus! I love thrillers and mystery solving type of dramas. As with all the dramas I love, I was hooked from the start.

At first, I was equally intrigued by both the Director (played by Nam Goong Min) and Hae Young (Jin Yi Han) who is also Sang Hyo's (played by Yoo In Na) ex-husband. The drama then started focusing TOO much on whether Sang Hyo was going to choose the Director or Hae Young. It was then that I started finding Hae Young soooooo annoying. He was just so pushy and didn't know when he wasn't wanted. I really wanted her to end up with the Director even though I knew in my heart, based on the standard drama formula, that she would end up with Hae Young. Side note: the Director's bod though????? Omo.

Girls, let's take a moment here, shall we? ...

The murder confused me a lot. I didn't even bother figuring it out in my mind. I had no idea why Assistant Manager was murdered at first. Then I couldn't figure out if the same person killed him, Young Mi AND the Director's father. Then when I was getting a clearer idea, I couldn't figure out why. Definitely not a flaw of the drama - I think they did a good job in revealing everything in the end.

I was just disappointed because the love triangle seemed to go back and forth. And because I knew Sang Hyo wasn't going to end up with the Director anyway, I was like girl why are you playing with his heart? Like, just make up your mind already!!! I will take the Director though, thank you very much <3

Joo Jung Eun is another hella annoying character. I think what is worse is that she is the cause of why Sang Hyo and Hae Young didn't reunite seven years ago. Her desperation and thirst for Hae Young is also hard to watch. Like the dude is married and clearly wants you to gtfo. Go give Si Chan some love.

Other than that, this drama was a real rollercoaster. They did a good job with their cliffhangers and I was always wanting more. They just needed to try to keep the female lead in one place a bit longer instead of the whole back and forth thing because it gave me a real headache.

Let me know your thoughts on this drama in the comments below!

As always, check out my favourite songs from the OST below!

"Trap" by Swings & Yoo Sung Eun

"Secret" by Yoon Sung Ki (윤성기)
